Compton - Most dangerous parts - 2009?

What is the most dangerous parts of compton these days?

Now I've been told that compton ain't as bad as it used to be, but since you still hear a lot of **** happening over there, there must be some parts that are still dangerous!

In the most dangerous parts of compton, how bad is the crime there, and how bad is the violence on a daily basis?

I'm not planing to move there. I'm just curious. I'm doing a school-project about compton in my english class, so if some of you who are answering in here live in compton, I'd like to ask some questions about how it is to live there.

MacArthur Park is messed up, tons of rape crime going on there.



Other than that Compton I can say is not like Brooklyn or the Bronx, the crime rate in Compton is high everywhere, you will see "diversity" in gangs. Eitherway, wherever you go in Compton, you still have a chance of being robbed and beaten up.

Compton is not that bad. I think the most dangerous streets of Compton are located in North Compton. For example, in Long Beach Blvd, border with Lynwood, you see a lot of prostitution. Some nice parts of Compton are the are located in the Sunny Cove area near the airport and small pockets all throughout the city. If you want to talk about crime and gang violence, you should write an essay on Watts or South Central.
