Unfortunatly they are still around. They have a right to free speech just like anyone else. The problem comes when people of no free will of there own choose to listen and follow what can only be described as hate.



They have sects all along the midwest and the south, and many pose in plain clothes so you wouldnt know them if they were in front of you now.



As far as there actions, they were unspeakable, but that was in the past. You can never forget there actions, but you can try to forgive and move on knowing that it was a totally diffrent country back then

Yes they still exist. They've just changed there name. They're now known as the Democratic Party and they congregate in Washington D.C.. They support affirmative action, which implies that blacks and other minorities are somehow inferior and need extra help to succeed. They support various programs that create a culture of dependence among minorities. Ask yourself, who really benefits from the welfare program in America? It's not the people living on it. It's the politicians who created it. They get millions of votes from the poor, mostly minority, people who depend on the programs. So do those politicians really have any interest in seeing people rise out of poverty and become self-reliant? I think the answer is obvious. It's too bad that some of the most hard-working people in America have let their political leaders in the Democrat party convince them that they can't make it without some kind of hand-out. It should be obvious who the REAL klansmen are today. Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton...how many blacks live in their neighborhoods? How many blacks get invited to their parties? Maybe Oprah...but only in an election year.

Yes, it does still exist - unfortunately - and in some areas it seems as if they have new support from racist people since the events of 11 September 2001. Which in return suits Bush and the right-wing fundamentalist people in the White House.



The KKK also has close links with the Orange Order in Northern Ireland (and Scotland) and with numerous neo-Nazi groups in the USA and many other countries.



And of course the KKK still receives financial support from a very well-known food company, whose name also starts with a big K, and whose cereals are as versatile as they are unhealthy. Every time people buy and eat their products, the KKK gets a small share of the profits. I wonder how many people are bothered by that. I am and never use any product from that company.

Sadly they are still in existence. They are usually uneducated, people who wear hoods over their head, so you don't know who they are. They burn churches in the south and have meetings in the North. But don't let them upset you, they have no real power any more. Most white people don't like them. There still is racism though, for both whites and blacks. I don't really like Malcom X (sorry) but I did like and have respect for Martin Luther King Jr. He was a good man. He preached peace and Biblical issues.

Yes they do still exist. I live in a small town and they decide to hold a rally here once a year on our courthouse lawn. No matter how much we locals object our "elected officials" say they have the right to assemble. What about our right to run them out of our town with our right to assemble against them? No, they still exist of course. Primarily groups are in NC, SC, FL, VT, NH, VA, WVA, TN, AL, LO, and TX. A good group of people and they help balance their opposities in the business which are the NAACP and NOI. I am a member and have been for 10 years. We meet regularly.
