Why are people so ironic? I mean everytime i see a picture of an overweight girl (not trying to be rude) and all the comments are like 'you're beautiful' or 'being beautiful isnt about size' or 'size doesnt define beauty'. Yet, if an oversized girl passes by a guy in real life, they'd make fun of her. Or if this girl likes the guy and this guy is so sweet and treats her right but never dates her because of her weight. Tbh i used to be overweight and it happened to me. I mean this guy was so sweet and we used to talk everyday but he never asked me out because of my weight and now, when i lost weight, he suddenly likes me. But yet, he'll comment something cheesy like 'size doesnt matter' on a fb pic. Why are people so ironic? (I'm sorry if offended anyone in any way)

People act very weirdly on facebook, a lot of fat girls get loads of likes and comments "omg you're beautiful' etc. when they really look disgusting. Emos do that too, "i'm so depressed, what is life?"

its because when it happens in real life, they can joke about it with thier friends without the consequence of a buch of other people knowing what they're saying. but when its online anyone can read it and know who said it. that's how i see it anyway. btw none of this is ironic really

I think you mean, why are people such two-faced liars?
