I live in Scotland and I agree the parliament building is grotesque. I'd have settled for straightforward classical architecture and it would have been a tenth of the cost.

I'm with you...I just read that article and was like..."where is the UFO that crashed on Soldier Field". The totally ruined that stadium...I'm getting used to it though, I don't live downtown, but go there frequently and I am getting used to it.

Could be a combination of sinus/stress related issues. The sinus infection accompanied by the stress of the loss of the family member, plus any tension you may be having are all adding up to one big health woe.

I agree 100% that it should be the renovated Soldier Field in Chicago. It looks like a spaceship landed on the rubbles of the lake shore. The renovation was halfway decent on the inside, but a poor job on the outside.

Heinz Field, without a doubt. I live in Pittsburgh, and I don't think these pics come anywhere near to conveying how truly hideous it is when you actually see it. It puts the U in ugly.
