Why do people put car tires on top of mobile homes?

Well, to be honest...i had the pleasure of finding that out one day...there are a few explanations that i was given,
1. so no one steals them
2. kids get bored and through them up there.
3. They said it was a place for one to watch the sun set, hence,,,mobile homes are only one story high...

Actually, mobile homes dont have much "space"!
Sure, they have compartments on the bottom of this bunk, and that bunk and every place else in the RV, and they even have some outside, but, when you are going out camping, you will find that you dont have enough space for everything that you want to pack!
So, if those who can, can put them up there, then more power to them because its out of the way. Mine, has always occupied a space in the shower unit... (Not that we "use" the shower, but, I dont like it there just because its a pain to look at!
