Why does everyone state something like its a fact, when really its their OPINION.
I believe God is real. That is my opinion.
You dont believe in God. That is your opinion.

I cant say "Evolution is wrong, and your stupid if you think its real" Because I cannot prove it. It is only my OPINION to not believe it.

You cannot state that God is not real, but you cannot speak for the whole world. That is your opinion. Stating that God is not real would have to mean that everyone agrees! And they dont.

It would be like if I said...Paris Hilton is not a s.l.u.t.
Weather I am right or wrong. That would only be my opinion. Honestly...I think she is. But they are many people that disagree.

I cannot say what you think is wrong. Because it would only be my opinion. I would have to say "I THINK what you think is wrong" Or "In my OPINION, you are wrong".

Does anyone else feel like their "opinions have been stripped from them???

I think people are afraid to express their opinion. Many consider their opinion as fact, but are their 'facts' are not supported. I think in general people are afraid to express themselves or don't know what they are talking about. I appreciate your view point and opinion.

There are nonetheless people who're prepared to admire different's comments, so there continues to be a such element as an "opinion". Tis a shame we don't have sufficient human beings like that, yet no might desire to be around human beings like that be start up top?

Sadly no one likes being wrong and in my opinion everyone has the right to show/give opinions but sadly people want to be correct all the time. Everyone knows whats best for everyone else. I use to find myself pretty upset when people would shove things on my lap suggesting that their ideas are the best for me and my children. And at times I used to get pretty defensive because I use to take everyone ideas and let them walk all over me. Its not that people were ginving me opinions but telling me that I should do what they were telling me because what they have for me is for my best interest when infact it had been the other way round. Now I listen to peoples ideas and treat them like opinions and do what I feel would be best for me and not neccessary do what I get thrown in lap.

However I find when I did the same to other people they didnot like it and this helped in the long run where I do turn around and remind people if they feel that they have right to give opinion like it or not they should also hear other people give them their opinions.

We can all have opinions but the only person who knows whats best for you is you.

Dont do somethings on the bases that other people want you to do it.

Do listen to other people what they have to say

But ONLY do

What you feel is best for you.

it is a misconception to think that "all opinions are equal"...there are views that are based (in varying degrees) on reason and evidence, and there are those that are based on a desire to believe, regardless of empirical verification or reason.

e.g. the belief that the world is governed by an invisible pink unicorn is not as valid as a view that the world is governed by natural laws; there is NO evidence for the former, and great amounts of evidence for the latter.

I think people whine because your opinion is not the same as theirs.
