i would tell them our world has no capital, as we are torn by power struggles. this would seem strange to them, assuming any civilization that has advanced far enough to have inter-galaxy space travel has long since overcome such problems, or never had them to begin with. they would then anal probe me and dump me in a cornfield, where i would be forced to live in a trailer park as an outcast for my crazy story.

New York could be considered the capital of the world.
So if another civilation or society asked us what the capital of the world is we might have difficulty deciding which it was. It would most likely turn out to be New York because New York has dubbed itself the "capital of the world", most articles online point to New York as being the capital, and the UN General Assembly Building is there which has the biggest hand in most world issues.

On the other hand though, we have not officially declared a "capital of the world". So it is not clear as to what we would do.

There is no recognized capital of the world. New York City, New York is often reffered to as the capital of the world sometimes because of it's global influences on economy, polotics, and culture.

I would say Boston... several of the most important colleges in the world are there. If it's not about education I would say wherever the EU meets or NYC where the UN meets.

I'd tell them that the world has no central government, and therefore there is no capital of the world.

The closest we have would be New York, at the United Nations complex.

not possible to answer. Our unique feature is that we are a planet of diverse nations, we would wreck that if we tried to centralise and have one capital.

ISRAEL. At least that's what the media tells us. It's all about sending money, military equipment, and support to Israel.
