I was watching tv and some british people called the area behind their house that Americans call a backyard the "garden". So if that's the garden what do u call it when you grow say flowers or vegatables near your home? Not trying to be funny, just seriously wanting to know.

They might call it that in Britain, it certainly sound terribly British, but in Australia, the backyard is the backyard, and the frontyard is the frontyard.

A garden is a garden. You know, that thing that you plant flowers or vegetables in.

But in England, they have Formal Gardens, which take up entire yards, or for that matter, acres of land. This is where they have 'Garden Parties' with Pavilions set up and all sorts of stuff.

ok some humorous stereotypes. despite the fact that as an American who has worry-free & worked with all the above + some new Zealanders as properly can say that different than for accessory, we are all extra like cousins that don't see one yet another that oftentimes. There could be lots of leg pulling & "debate",a number of it somewhat propose yet there are extra similarities than dividing transformations. From "foxhole" memories informed by employing the WWll era would not choose to be sorry fool that have been given between any human beings lower back. the super "equalizer" does look beer regardless of if the Aussies are elite professionals. Have some with any of the bunch after paintings & its piss your pants exciting. superb regards
