Not unless you're making fun of them. Which is a terribly sick thing to do.

Is it rude for a deaf person to SIGN in front of you? NO. That is the way they HAVE to communicate.
You need to go to Wikipedia and LOOK UP the WORD "rude" before you do anything else.

No it's not rude, but when speaking to or around a deaf person the polite thing to do would be to angle yourself around so they can see your mouth when speaking and carefully form the words so they can understand too. Just remember to be polite, just not to the point of condescending.

It's not rude. Many deaf people can read lips. When I know the person is deaf, I make sure they can see my lips (so I usually angle myself to face them), and I carefully form the words as I talk.

Your paper sounds like it's asking for an opinion, so either way would work.
I personally don't think it's rude. They can't help it if they're deaf.

No, it is not. I have a deaf friend and she can read lips, meaning that she can be in any conversation, whether using sign language or not.

If you and the person you are talking to know sign language, then it is very rude.

why would it? They know they can't hear, and they know you can. They see people talking on a daily basis. Just be careful not to talk crap about them, most of them can read lips.
