I was taught that Jews control the media when I was younger, and now I'm recently learning that if a person makes a statement about Jewish/Zionest influence in the media, economy, or society, they are blacklisted.
I think that the fact that a person is blacklisted for saying something about Jewish influence only paradoxically proves the thereafter.
I was intrigued with this issue, and according to Wikipedia,
"One well-known antisemitic cliché is that "the Jews control the media".
Why is it antisemetic to say that Jews control the media if Jews in fact do control the media, economy, etc? Why is Abraham Foxman so...ashamed? Do Jews (or Abraham Foxman, who thinks he speaks for all Jews) think of owning and controlling major industries and having influence as a bad thing? I am a teenager and I genuinly do not understand.
If the group I identify with (Muslim, East African) was seen as powerful, aristocratic, wealthy, and maybe kinda greedy I would be proud. Irrationally proud, but, not ashamed.
So why is it antisemitic to say that Jews 'control' something? If that statement is found to be false, than the person saying it should be ignored. But if it is found to be true that major influences are headed by Jews/Zionists, what's the problem?
I think Jews control the media and I don't care if it's non-PC. Facts are facts.
