why can't women grow old gracefully?

Why do women of today's society feel the need to have the empowerment of looking younger when they hit 40 or so? Why do they feel the need to attract younger men? Why do teenagers feel the need to look older? why can't we grow old gracefully, without being ridiculed for looking 'old?'

Men do not mature more gracefully. The truth is that women are more forgiving of men's ageing because historically, women have always been made to feel insecure about ageing and apparent "defects" that don't fit society's "ideal".

I even have yet to work out a woman advance previous gracefully. as quickly as you attain your 40's you coloration your hair if their is a grey hair in sight you will do it returned and returned. i won't say i understand one individual who has grown previous gracefully, the persons who generally tell a individual to advance previous gracefully are generally of their 70s and 80s. i'm no longer transforming into previous gracefully, i hate looking older and attempt my ultimate to no longer inspect myself interior the replicate with glasses on, look somewhat greater constructive then teeeheee.:) Have an attractive Christmas and take care. for a woman to advance previous gracefully it means accepting your gray hair, the wrinkles, the somewhat greater effective tummy , the undeniable fact which you at present could positioned on spectacles and that your ft hurts once you place on extreme heels . So out come the flatties, the long pants with elasticated factors and the blouses, shirts that conceal the greater effective tummy etc. To be pleased with the form you look and not moan approximately it. I moan approximately it each and all of the time and that i'm no longer that previous yet.

Ok, lets see if i can make this as painless as possible, not to mention keep it



respectful, cause there's one thing we all have women as well as men, though



for some reason men only get the blame for having one, then why am i not



surprised? talking about an ego, any ways simply put, and truth be told, it



feels nice in fact it feels awesome, to be looked at and complimented on ones



appearance, because this bull s**t about inner beauty really doesn't hold



water once your mirror starts turning on you, and as for age being just a



number right, and i'm Jesus posting this, wouldn't it be nice if people could



just simply be honest once in a while? i can't say for sure who really matures



first i'm no biologist, but as for getting old gracefully, i would have to equate it



with paying taxes, we all have to do it but i seriously doubt anyone really looks



forward every year, to April 15 . . .

I can not answer why the teens wanna look older. But as for older women trying to look younger: It has nothing to do with impressing society or wanting younger men. Most older women have already had their children and don't want a younger man to raise. (I say most, not all). I sell anti aging and skin replenishing cosmetics. It has more to do with wanting to take care of yourself and feel the best you can about yourself. If you can do that and fight gravity as the same time why wouldn't you? Aging doesn't happen the same for all women, and can be very harsh on some of us. I say kudos to the woman who cares enough about herself to take the time to pamper herself the way she deserves to be pampered.
