Let's say all human beings die off tomorrow all at once; leaving all things as they are, unfinished and untouched from their current state. If an alien were to land here (don't be dumb and get hung up on the existence of aliens), what would be here worth learning about? What would make them wish they could remember? What would you want to remember?

I think the great monuments of mankind, like the pyramids and the ruins of great cities. Not because they're big hunks of rock and cool architecture, but because they are a testement to the perseverence and strength of our race. I don't think enough people realize our amazing capacity of strength, which makes all other areas of our lives possible. Our strength to overcome hardships, survive, succeed, and persevere is what makes it possible for us to bring tenderness and love into our relationships. Now given the scenario of there being no humans left, maybe the aliens could appreciate the fact that we made it this far before killing ourselves off.

I think an alien would want to know, "what on earth killed all these people on the same day?". And then they would probably want to remember what it was in case it attaches itself to their ship, and comes home with them. Now don't get all hung up on the existence of ships. I think if all human beings were to die off tommorrow, I wold blame Paris Hilton. She just looks guilty.

The beautiful landscape on earth, the rainforests and the bio-diversity of plants and animals (assuming only humans were gone and animals and plants still exist). Also, all of our architecture and technology. Also, our great wide oceans teeming with life... and "blue skies smiling at me...."

The things that are worth remembering are the fun times you had with people you love

The fun and loving times you had with your friends and family. How close your heart was to certain people and what a relationship you had to people. Relationship implies, love, care and doing things for them.

Nothing.

The greatest worth of humanity is not in the physical realm. All of the technology, all of the art, is nothing compared to Love (and we didn't make that).
