Are those the droids I was looking for?

Question

I am a Stormtrooper and work for a really evil boss (I can't name him for fear of what will happen to me). Anyway I was recently sent to work on this really sandy planet to look for an old man, some yound dude and a couple of droids. On a routine stop of a vehicle, people who matched the description drove up to me. On questioning them, the old man told me:

'These are not the droids you are looking for'

I believed him and sent them on their way. Now looking back and thinking of it, I'm pretty sure they are the droids I was looking for. Should I tell my boss? I know he'll get very angry and probably choke me with a mind/chokey thing he does. Should I stay quiet and hope it blows over?

What if your evil boss finds out you were careless? Report it as soon as you can

No need to say anything, those Droids and the young dude killed your boss a few years ago.
