why do girls always eat ice cream when they're upset or going through a break up or right after a break up i mean what the deal girls it wont give you an answer or make you feel better or does it

In my opinion, ice cream has just turned into a symbol in movies for the grieving recently-dumped girlfriend. In reality, some women (or men) tend to eat in order to compensate for an emotional/mental crisis. But those kind of people would eat anything really, and not necessarily ice cream. I guess in movies it just seem cuter if they eat ice cream, rather than how they would look if they would just go binge-style on a hamburger.

Some people do the opposite which either way these actions are both horrible for your body not to say you can't have ice cream that's not what makes a person fat - what makes them fat is not getting off their ****



- some people starve themselves I know of some one who lost 10-20 pounds because of a break up

because people (not just women) who are emotional eaters try to satisfy themselves and ease the pain so to speak with things that are comforting. hence, these kinds of people find food comforting, so they eat.
