Do Indians think that Pub culture is wrong?

Do a real Indian think that drinking beer is wrong, or going to a PUB is wrong and against our culture ? or is it cook up political millage in India?
if YES why do the indian government encourage PUBs or permits pubs. It is clear that its under the control of the Government that says that PUB culture is bad. what do you have to say ?

What is Pub culture? Do pubs have any standards of behaviour, values, customs, beliefs, religious practices and dress code etc etc which make up "culture" ? If "yes", I don't see anything wrong with it. If "not" still I don't see anything wrong with it.It is a matter of individual choice whether you want to visit a Pub or not.

In my lexicon a "Pub" is a place where one goes to to mingle, with some social drinking thrown in.What the politicians are objecting to is not very clear even to themselves.After doing some research I think that what they are objecting to is the fair sex joining the Pub crowd.It is more of a gender bias than anything else.It is male chauvinism at work and unfortunately appeals to a lot of people.Politicians are there to pander to what people want to get a vote.

I am an Indian and I don't think going to PUB or drink beer is wrong.

Some of the PUB is provide drugs, which is wrong.



Now of the days some political parties are show off they are the God Father of particular community and they can make some violent things for get it publicity

Indians are not against the Pub culture ,it is only when women, their sisters and daughters start going to these Pubs , it becomes a problem. Understanding criminal infested society and corrupt police and politicians , this is just one of the way.

I think so ..... whole indian system is a mess , accept the good from the west , first lets make livable conditions in india , sweep the slumps relocate people , improve public transport and provide water and electricity to all , and also keep our country clean , then we can step in to the european style ,,,,,,,, we need a balanced development
