-limit dining out (dinner or lunch) to 1 per week (it should be a treat)
-make coffee at home in bring to work in travel mug
-dont smoke (one tip I should but dont follow)
-buy whole foods and cook from scratch (pre-packaged and prepared foods are costly)

Create a Budget, Outline money that you have to spend i.e bills, gas, groceries etc... then subtract that from what you make every two weeks or month or whenever you pay the bills and with the money you have left designate an amount which you can afford to put away every month or however often you can.
