Am I the only person alive that Supported SOPA/PIPA?

Question

I think SOPA/PIPA this is a VERY VERY good idea.No i'm not a troll I'm a real person and I'm dead serious. I know that the protesters won't let it happen because the government is to spineless to stand up to people. So it's pretty much a fact that SOPA/PIPA won't be passed... but even so was I the only one who supported the bill anyway? I really wish they'd pass the bill it's bogus that they aren't. Yes I realize all the effects so you don't have to tell me things that I already know (Just to save you guys time answering). And I'm pretty much prepared to be demonized by you all like I killed someone or something. XD I'm just Joking.

I just want to know am I the only normal everyday person who supports the Bill?

Yeah, I know I posted this question before but no one is giving me a reasonable answers everyone is just whaling on me because I supported the bill so I'll keep doing this until I get a good answer. :/

You're not the only person. The ones that came up with it thought it was a great idea. The movie and music industry in general also agree with you. Artists of all kinds that have had their work stolen and is losing money on it will also most likely agree with you. But, if you ask the average internet user (and down loader) then they are very unlikely to agree. They are the ones that benefit from it. People who get something for nothing is very unlikely to agree that they should get nothing for nothing.

Most probably yes. My answer won't be much help but I think everyone (including me) only don't want the bill to be passed because we don't want to lose Facebook, google, twitter, wikipedia, YouTube, etc. I understand it's for a good cause though but maybe thy haven't found the best solution because millions and millions of people around the world are even signing petitions doing anything in their will to stop it. So maybe you are the only one supporting it? :/ I dont seem to understand why you support it though.

I think so. Well im not against stopping online piracy but the bill was so abroad. search engines could be shut down for displaying a link to their site. Almost any website could be shut down just cause the government doesn't like it. for example, websites criticizing the government would probably be the first ones shut down. It gives them to much power.



I would not be against it if they had to get permission from a judge to shut it down AND no link to link bull crap cause ALL websites are connected
