What am I doing wrong (rolling cigarettes)?

I lost the mojo... Now when I try to roll my own, they're impossible to smoke. I have to suck at them like a vacuum cleaner for christ's sake! Am I rolling them too tight, or too lose? I loosen up the tobacco like a mad man, yet still the same issue...

Rolling cigarettes is what you're doing wrong. Say NO to cancer, son.

If it's too tight you won't let enough air in, and even a big hit won't be felt. Too loose, and it doesn't burn smooth resulting in rough hits or the joint falling apart. I would assume you're rolling it just a tad too tight. I also recommend for ease of use to buy a cigarette Roller, filters, and untreated tobacco. There is no safe alternative to smoking other than quitting in the long run, but I'm not your mother so I can't convince you a thing. Take it easy, and hopefully this proved beneficial in your cause! Have fun.

just roll it with your thumbs until there is no space between the paper and the tobacco. I doubt you are rolling them too tight because that is very hard to do with rolling papers.
