Taking the fact that men are naturally stronger and faster than women?

Why are women so much less successful in non speed/strength sports than men?
I mean sports like darts, snooker,bowls,chess, rally driving and other motorsports.
Yes, there are some women who are good at these sports but the 100th best man in each of these would beat the no1 woman.
Does this throw a spanner into the 'equality' debate?

Men are just better at sports, its that simple..........It works both ways though the 100th best Woman would beat a man at ironing, cleaning or washing the dishes.

Realistically, men are stronger and faster than women because of the way they are build and how it has always been. I'm a lady myself but there's no point denying the fact of the matter. Since the beginning of times, men were the ones who mostly had to hunt, gather, protect etc and so were anatomically build with better speed and strength over their female counterparts. Pretty much anything to do with athletics, men would fare better.

Firstly, you are confusing "equality" with "sameness" and your question highlights what everybody knows - men and women are not the same. This does not affect the equality issue, however.



Secondly, the sports that you describe are tailor-made for men. Their brains are better wired up for the very skills that are required for success.

Absolutely, men are stronger and faster however you can not multi-task and you are unable to ask for directions!!



You answer your own question, the fact is man have a better muscle ratio than woman thus making them stronger, they tend to play sports from an early age (I like dolls personally) and more than anything men are much more competitive, you want to out do each other, even your question is competitive you Muppet!

What bothers me the most is golf. (and excuse me--I don't know all the correct terminology!) Women want to play in the same leagues/games as men, yet when they go to hit the ball they get to stand like 30 or 40 feet in front of the men? WTF is that about?? You want to play golf with men that's fine, but when you drive your golf ball out onto the green, use the same tee as the men do.

Men are NOT stronger or faster than women. I worked with a bunch of men on a construction crew and I blew them away. I think its because most women are afraid to try or don't want to explore the fields that are typically dominated by men.
