Question:
Prom limo issue- looking for advice?

I am headed to my senior prom in a little less than a week and am getting desperate about my transportation situation.
I have been shunned out of two groups of "friends" who were originally in one group until a junior "friend" in the group decided she didn't want to go to prom with less attractive girls (my senior "friends"). I was then with my senior friends who subsequently blamed me for the group slitting up and began treating me like the hired help. I bowed out of this group to remove stress from my singular prom experience.

As of now, I can either ride in a friend's older jeep, drive myself in my parent's Honda Pilot ( which is not only dangerous, seeing as our Prom is rather far away with lots of freeway and city driving, but basically impossible due to the skirting of my prom dress) or allow my dad to call the car service he uses for traveling.

Is a car service (with the car options being a "luxury sedan town car", Lexus or Mercedes) dorky? My date says he doesn't care about how we get there but I don't want to embarrass him or myself.

Thanks so much,
Rory

well I traveled in everything under the sun to homecomings and proms from limo's to BMW's to my dates parents van (fresman year I didn't know any better ) and here is what I realized.... not one person at that prom will see what you roll up in. Seriously, no one stands outside the dance to laugh at people showing up in something other than a limp. Now I know you want to make the night as special as possible, so I would go with the car service. I mean if you were using a limo it would be the same thing minus the strech. But the most important thing is to HAVE FUN!!!!! Who cares what you show up in, it's about the memories you have inside the building , not what you park on the outside.

People don't really even pay attention to what you're riding in. So many people are getting there at the same time. It's actually better to just drive so that way you're not waiting on someone else or rushed out by a driver. That way if you wanna meet up with people afterwards for food or whatever, you're free to do whatever you want.

Wow, how rude, i won't be in a position to have self assurance they did that. First, you may desire to have rented an exceedingly extremely extreme high quality motor vehicle instead of a limo, if it particularly is merely you and your date. How cool could that have been for yall to roll up in a rolls royce or I dunno some variety of unique motor vehicle, with you 2 in it. 2d, it particularly is like a pity element how they invited you for %., yet not for the limo journey. WTF. i does not even bypass over there. i'm hoping none of those people have been supposedly your good acquaintances, reason in the event that they have been, unload them. keep in mind, your approximately to be in college with an entire new pool of acquaintances to %. from. So i advise in case you particularly need to look back on the %. and characteristic a nasty reminiscence of ways anybody left you out the limo for promenade, then bypass. If not, I say merely take %. with your date, bypass to promenade jointly and characteristic exciting. i'm hoping you savour your self, it particularly is the final college dance of your existence so make the techniques satisfied ones. have exciting AT YOUR promenade :)
