"An eye for an eye makes the world blind", as Gandhi once said. No i do not believe in an eye for an eye, it denies the person a chance to redeem themselves and repay their debt to society. It also allows falsely accused innocent people to be wrongfully killed. Life imprisonment is a better punishment if you ask me, let them rot in jail rather than simply ending their life. Until we know what comes after death, it is not a reliable punishment.
