Hi Mex,
I'm sorry you had this very unpleasant experience. Also, I'm sorry you have received some very rude answers.
People who act like that are really cowards, insults & offends those they believe they can get away with it, feel really bad about themselves, & act that way only to people they perceive will not contend with them in any sort of way, (or have some sort of serious mental problem such as paranoid schizophrenia which is not the case the vast majority of the time). Those who don't have a severe mental illness who acts this way are acting out their anger onto ones they view as not being a threat to them. (Think of bullies). They certainly have acquired maladaptive behaviors.
Their ego is fed when they exhibit these kind of behaviors toward people who seem intimidated & frightened by them. These kind of trouble makers do not fit into society well @ all.
You'll meet a lot of people in your life like that guy, unfortunately. As you grow older, learn to deal with these kind of people in an assertive (not aggressive & not passive) way.
Again, I'm sorry you had this very unpleasant experience with this guy. I can understand your feelings were hurt & you felt intimidated. Try to forget about him & the whole experience, and the rude answers you've gotten from people just like him.
In Christ Jesus' name,
K
