I dont swear in professional/nice places...but i am an avid curser. I picked it up mostly from movies. I love swearing...it releases such stronger emotion. every time i stub my toe,etc it just comes naturally to yell f____. Ive noticed its become socially acceptable now also.
What about you? how much of a habit is swearing for you?
ps...its so addictive..its just natural nowadays.

I often suprise myself at how well I adjust my language to fit whatever social/professional setting I am in. At home, and work ( I am a Chef) I swear like the offspring of a truck driving sailor and pit-stop waitress. I can't recall an incident where I have let a curse slip in an inappropriate setting. But otherwise it is part of my every day vocabulary, and some would be shocked at the things that can come out of my mouth...........

All the freakin time! :-) It's an unintelligent way to express myself.

There's a series called Deadwood on HBO. Calamity Jane offered a penny to a little girl she was tending to. Good Lord, I think she owed the girl $100 at the end of an episode :-)

I don't swear. I used to when i was like 5 and my big brother would spell out curse words and tell me to yell them. But i havn't since then.

I don't because i used to hear my dad curse a lot and i thought that if i ever did i would end up like him.

I curse in my constant everyday vocabulary and find most people around me do as well. It is way more acceptable nowdays to just use curse words as verbs in regular conversation. I see it everywhere all the time around me and no one even seems to notice.

I swear as often as possible. I take swearing to a new level...it's like art when i open my mouth and spew a paragraph of vulgarity

I swear/curse usually when I am mad, otherwise I prefer to avoid using profanities.....especially in front of the younger children.
