Anyone caught breaking the law of gravity should be grounded!

not all laws are man made; enforcements & penalties are for man-made laws. laws of nature may or may not be able to be meddled with. gravity is one of them.

so your question really is invalid.

I got news for you. They are. And we do obey them. We have no choice. You see, that proves there is a God. God, not wanting us to be puppets (where's the fun in that) allows us to break His laws, but at our peril. As for nature, well nature is not a god so nature commands strict obedience, or else. Don't believe me? Go try and fly from the tallest building you can find. Rather, take a melon, imagine it's your head, and let it stand in for you in the flying attempt, then go see what remains of your head afterward.

Now I have a question for you. Assuming enough of us object to a universal law, what's the procedure for getting it changed? Remember, we used to have a maximum national speed limit of 55 MPH here...

You show me ANYONE who's really breaking/disobeying a universal law and I'll straighten it out for you. It's my job, after all.

The universe gets to attack you kinda like Custer and the Indians

Anyone who doesn't believe in the law of gravity should be forced to jump of the Empire State Building and asked to fly. That will teach them to believe...oops, wait a minute. They will be splattered.

Absolutely. But then who would you have enforce them? Well, God is not an option. He has shown an historical lack of respect for them. So he's out. FBI? CIA? Local police? The public? Tough one. I guess it really is up to all of us. For me I respect them and obey them. When I fall (which during the evening is quite often) I hit the ground. I respect action and reaction (as my ex-wife knows all too well). I will admit that I am trying to shade, if you will, the laws relating to time and time warp continuum. Wait a minute, did I answer this question next week? Whoa, I may be on to something here!! I'll let you know 2 weeks ago.

mmkay. we follow universal laws everyday. there is not a place on this earth where there is no gravity, unless it is man-made, like the Gravitron at the county fair. but when it stops, you're back in your seat. remember newton's law of gravity-what goes up must come down. it's been that way forever, and it'll be that way forever until the end of time.

Since Newtonian gravity has been rendered obsolete by greater theories of relativity and so on, I think people who still talk about gravity in the apple-from-the-tree sense should be shot.

All the people who don't believe in gravity have been ejected from the planet.

your left butt cheek will be imune to gravity for 24 hrs, on violation of any universal constant.
