Women Only Hotel floors?

I think this is a joke . . . . what women need their own hotel floors now?

Is this pandering?

What do you think?

It depends. Have you travelled extensively as a single woman, either for business or leisure? There is usually a better measure of security in the higher-end hotels, with cameras and security and what-not. But I and other single traveller women have felt threatened by men who don't accept boundaries. I've seen men loiter in the hallways of even nice hotels.

In hostels or budget hotels where bathrooms are communal, I prefer single gender floors. It's nice to stagger down the hall at 3 am to pee and not worry about a perv ogling me or lurking in the bathrooms. I've seen it happen.

Lesbians and Religions stuck in the 10th Century would love it.
